Welcome to Joe (Raves) Ravenscroft

Hi my name is Joe Ravenscroft I am 13 years old and I live in Huddersfield. I have been riding bikes since 3 years old and racing them from 6.

I started off racing minimoto’s having numerous wins and podiums.

When I was 10 I moved up to the British Jawa 50cc championship which I won and finished second in the British junior pit bikes.

The year after I progressed onto the conti 50cc and 70cc British championships, and finished 4th in both which I was pleased with after breaking my wrist at the first round. Last year was a huge step up to the Dunlop aprilia superteen championship learning a new bike and national race circuits. After a short time getting used to the bike I had podium finishes in the nitro newcomer’s championship at Pembrey, Oulton, Snetterton, Donington park moto GP 09, Brands hatch and Cadwell Park.

Over all in the main championship I finished 12th out of 49 and in the newcomers finished 4th out of 29 despite missing the first 4 races of the season due to being on holiday.

This year I am doing the Dunlop aprilia superteen championship again and hoping to do well in the 2010 season.
